Zelenskyy Orders 1,000 Drone Attacks Daily Against Russia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has issued a directive to significantly increase the scale of drone operations targeting Russia, setting a goal of 1,000 long-range drone strikes per day. This ambitious objective aims to intensify pressure on Russian territory.

Zelenskyy stated in a video address that the current average of approximately 300 drone attacks daily is insufficient and that the target of 1,000 drones is "quite a realistic goal" that will be achieved. This decision was a key topic during a recent meeting between Zelenskyy and military leadership, where defense against Russian attacks, including Shahed drone assaults, was also prioritized.
