Zontes Launches Three New Scooters in Argentina Amidst Booming Motorcycle Market

Argentina's motorcycle industry is thriving, with patent registrations surging and sales up 43% compared to the previous year. Amidst this strong market performance, Chinese brand Zontes has introduced three new scooter models to bolster its presence in Argentina.

The Zontes 368G is designed for riders seeking versatility, capable of venturing off-road. This model successfully completed the "Travesía de los Dos Océanos" (Two Oceans Crossing), a demanding journey where content creators reported no mechanical issues. The 368G features a 368cc engine, adventure-inspired design with tubeless spoked wheels, 180mm ground clearance, and a 759mm seat height. It includes advanced features like traction control, cruise control, keyless entry, two riding modes, and ABS, with a disengageable rear brake for low-traction surfaces. Its 17.5-liter fuel tank ensures extended range.

Complementing the 368G is the Zontes 368E, positioned as an urban-focused scooter. It shares the 368cc engine but offers a distinct equipment package for city riding, including traction control, cruise control, keyless operation, tire pressure sensors, and two riding modes. This model also boasts dual-channel ABS disc brakes, full LED lighting, and a 17-liter fuel tank for good autonomy on longer commutes.

Rounding out the new offerings is the Zontes 150X, a nimble scooter built for agile urban mobility. Powered by a 155cc engine producing 17.7 hp and 15.5 Nm of torque, it features liquid cooling and Bosch electronic fuel injection. Zontes plans to introduce more models throughout the year, aiming to capture a larger share of Argentina's expanding motorcycle market.
