Zulma Lobato found homeless in Paraná; authorities provide assistance

Media personality Zulma Lobato was found living on the streets of Paraná, a city in Argentina's Entre Ríos province, sparking concern among her followers. She is now staying at a municipal care center for vulnerable people, where her health is being evaluated.

As happens every time we alert a person on the street, we have an operation where that person is interviewed, attended to, and their situation is assessed.

Lobato was recognized near the San Martín Hospital carrying bags of clothing and personal belongings. She reportedly mentioned using the hospital to bathe and wash clothes. Municipal officials noted she appeared disoriented, making it difficult to ascertain how she arrived in Paraná.

The children approached the place where she was with another person, who was originally from the city of Paraná, and who was accompanying her in this situation. She (Zulma) was not oriented in time and space. We could not know the reasons why she was in the city of Paraná and how she had arrived.

Enrique Ríos, Paraná's Secretary of Human Development, explained the protocol for assisting individuals found on the street. He stated that Lobato was accompanied by another person when found and appeared disoriented. Officials are seeking to understand her circumstances and how she reached the city.

She is in a state of great deterioration and vulnerability. We offered her the possibility of temporary accommodation in one of the municipal residences. She voluntarily agreed, was transferred, and spent the night normally. And at this moment the interdisciplinary team... will conduct a new interview to find out how she is.

Given Lobato's history of a stroke, medical and psychological assessments will be conducted. Ríos described her as being in a state of significant deterioration and vulnerability. She voluntarily accepted temporary accommodation at a municipal residence. The goal is to connect her with family or acquaintances to facilitate her reintegration and care.

The idea is to establish a link with a family member. So far, we have no information as to whether she came to the home of a relative or acquaintance in the city of Paraná, or simply took a bus. The issue is to be able to resocialize and continue her process with her relatives, so that she can be located.
