Zulum hails Tinubu, military over rescue of 360 Borno captives

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has lauded the Nigerian military, particularly the troops of Operation HADIN KAI, for their successful operation that liberated 360 abductees from the notorious Mandara Mountains terrorist stronghold in the southern part of the state. The governor described the rescue as a significant achievement and a testament to the growing effectiveness of intelligence-led military operations against insurgency in the North-East.

In a statement released on Sunday, Zulum emphasized that the mission, which resulted in the safe recovery of numerous men, women, and children held captive by terrorists, has reignited hope among affected communities. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Federal Government, the Nigerian military, and the Borno State Government to protecting lives and restoring lasting peace to the region.
