2027 Elections: Nigerian Senate Deputy President rallies support for Tinubu

Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has called for unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections. Representing Kano North, Jibrin urged his constituents to remain united and rally behind the president, the Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and other APC candidates.

Jibrin's appeal emphasizes the importance of consolidating political support for the current administration and its party. The senator's proactive engagement aims to solidify the APC's base in the northern region, particularly in Kano, a key political stronghold.

In addition to political mobilization, Senator Jibrin is actively engaged in economic empowerment initiatives. He recently empowered 1,300 petty traders, providing them with N130 million in monthly support. This initiative highlights a dual focus on political advocacy and grassroots economic development.
