2027: Kogi Central PDP inaugurates campaign council, names Etudaiye DG

The Kogi Central chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has launched its campaign organization for the 2027 general elections, emphasizing grassroots engagement. Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents the district in the Senate, inaugurated the campaign council in Okene.

This campaign must be house-to-house and polling-unit-by-polling-unit. We must reach our people directly, listen to them, engage them and explain clearly why the PDP remains the best platform for the development and progress of our people.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan urged the newly appointed members to prioritize winning the election by directly reaching voters. She stressed the importance of house-to-house and polling-unit-by-polling-unit mobilization to connect with the people, understand their concerns, and articulate why the PDP is the preferred platform for the district's development.

She also extended an invitation for new members to join the party, emphasizing unity and collaboration to build a stronger political movement. Dr. Salami Etudaiye, appointed as the Director-General of the campaign, accepted the role with a commitment to active engagement. He described his appointment not as a ceremonial title but as a "call to battle" to organize a movement. Etudaiye pledged that the campaign would extend to every corner of Kogi Central, including its towns, streets, markets, campuses, and homes, with the clear objective of winning decisively.
