2027 polls: City Boy Movement, FCT APC, targets 42,000 volunteers

The City Boy Movement, a group associated with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has set an ambitious target of mobilizing 42,000 volunteers. This extensive recruitment drive is specifically aimed at bolstering the party's efforts in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.

Mr. Bitrus Garki, the FCT Director and Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, outlined the core objectives of the initiative during a recent event. He emphasized that the volunteers' activities will concentrate on three key areas: facilitating voter registration, conducting grassroots sensitization campaigns to engage the electorate, and implementing youth empowerment programs. These efforts are designed to build a strong foundation for the party's electoral success.
