2027: Sani Mobilises North-West Support for Tinubu

Kaduna Governor Uba Sani has begun making the case for Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election in Nigeria’s North-West, telling supporters that the region has benefited more than any other part of the country under the president.

Sani made the appeal on Saturday at the inauguration of coordinators and members of the “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” support group for the seven North-West states. His special adviser on politics, Abubakar Mamadi, represented him at the event in Kaduna.

Mamadi said the federal administration had made interventions in agriculture, education, youth empowerment and women’s development. “No region has benefited under Tinubu’s administration like the North, particularly the seven states in the North-West region,” he quoted Sani as saying.

The governor asked the group to take information about federal programmes and achievements to rural communities across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto and Zamfara. Convener Mike Auta urged members to extend the campaign beyond major cities, saying, “Go to all nooks and crannies of the states and mobilise the people. We must ensure victory for President Tinubu come 2027.”

Women’s leader Karima Abdullai said women in the region had benefited from cash assistance and empowerment programmes and urged them to support Tinubu. Farida Bala, director of town hall engagement and special duties, called on Nigerians to remain patient, describing the government’s policies as part of an ongoing process to rebuild the country.
