2027: SDP Nasarawa boasts of landslide victory

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Nigeria's Nasarawa State has declared its strong conviction that it will secure a landslide victory in the 2027 general elections, winning the governorship and all other elective seats. This confidence stems from what the party describes as significant grassroots support and broad acceptance throughout the state.

Mr. Abdullahi Ari, the SDP's Nasarawa South Zonal Chairman, articulated this optimism during a solidarity visit to Mohammed Adamu-Omadefu, the member representing Keana Constituency at the State House of Assembly. Ari, accompanied by other state and local party officials, affirmed the party's backing for Adamu-Omadefu's bid for a third term, citing his performance and dedication to the development of the Keana Local Government Area.

The visit also served as a platform to strategize on advancing the party's interests within the constituency and across Nasarawa State. Ari specifically highlighted retired IGP Mohammed Abubakar-Adamu as the party's governorship candidate, reiterating the belief in his widespread grassroots support as a key factor for electoral success in 2027.
