Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike declared that his administration's delivery of infrastructure projects will serve as the main argument for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. Wike asserted that ongoing projects across the territory will continue without interruption as the campaign season approaches.

During the inspection of the Arterial Road N16, which links Jahi with Gwarimpa and Karsana, Wike noted the contractor's assurance of completion by January. He highlighted the road's critical role in opening up the Gwarimpa axis. At the Tunga Madaki-Zuba site, Wike praised the contractor's pace despite rain-induced delays in earthworks, noting the pivot to drainage construction and the approval for electricity pole relocation to facilitate streetlight installation. He assured continued government funding to meet project deadlines.
