3 children hospitalized after electrical leak at school swimming pool in Vietnam

Three children required emergency medical treatment after an electrical leak at a swimming pool located at Nguyen Du High School in Quang Ha commune, Vietnam. The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 28, when two boys, aged 13 and 9, were found unconscious in the water. A third 9-year-old child was also hospitalized for observation.

According to initial reports, the two unconscious children, identified as Nguyen Duc T. (13) and Nguyen Duc P. (9), were swimming in a private pool on school grounds when they lost consciousness. A third child, Nguyen Thien C. (9), also required medical attention. The pool's owner, Vi Dinh Minh, 63, stated that five children were swimming when three became unresponsive.

But there was one incident – a hunter who came to kill, and the bear peeled his face off like an orange.

Emergency services and school staff immediately provided first aid before transporting the children to Mong Cai General Hospital. Doctors reported that Nguyen Duc T. arrived with no pulse or heartbeat and underwent intensive resuscitation before being transferred to Quang Ninh Provincial General Hospital. Nguyen Duc P. was diagnosed with respiratory failure and aspiration pneumonia and also transferred to a higher-level hospital. Nguyen Thien C. is in stable condition with pneumonia.

During the investigation, authorities discovered an electrical current running through the metal support columns of the pool's sunshade. A test confirmed the presence of a leak, leading police to suspect electrocution as the cause of the incident. The pool area has been cordoned off for further investigation, and individuals involved have been questioned.
