37,367 Foreign Tourists Used Trains in Daop 2 Bandung Area

PT Kereta Api Indonesia Daop 2 Bandung reported that 37,367 foreign tourists traveled by train in its service area between January and June 2026. The railway operator noted a growing demand for train travel among both foreign and domestic tourists.

"Throughout the first semester of 2026 (January-June), PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 2 Bandung recorded 37,367 foreign national passengers using train services from various stations in the Daop 2 Bandung region," stated Manager of Public Relations Kuswardojo on Monday (August 3, 2026). He emphasized that trains are becoming a preferred mode of transportation for travelers.

Stasiun Bandung emerged as the station with the highest number of foreign passengers, serving 28,078 individuals, which constitutes approximately 75% of all foreign passengers within the Daop 2 Bandung area.
