86-year-old Tainan restaurant 'Jin Xia Lou' makes a renewed comeback

The historic Tainan cuisine brand "Jin Xia Lou," with an 86-year legacy, has made a comeback. Originating from a stall founded in 1940 near Tian Gong Temple in Tainan, the brand, associated with the well-known "A Xia Hotel," has returned as a new flagship store. "Jin Xia Lou・Xun Zhen Tainan Cuisine" is now open for trial operations on the second floor of the A1 building at the Nanfang store.

The revamped establishment promises upgraded classic dishes, reflecting the brand's long-standing culinary heritage. This relaunch signifies a new chapter for the Tainan cuisine institution, aiming to blend tradition with a modern dining experience. The brand has been passed down through four generations, maintaining its commitment to authentic Tainan flavors.
