A’Ibom delivers 1,048 housing units in three years — Commissioner

Akwa Ibom State is making significant strides in addressing its housing deficit, with the administration of Governor Umo Eno delivering an impressive 1,048 housing units in under three years. This accomplishment highlights a focused commitment to providing shelter for various segments of the population, from vulnerable individuals to essential public servants.

The diverse range of projects, including the Compassionate Homes initiative which has provided shelter for 355 vulnerable persons, and dedicated residences for civil servants on lower grade levels, demonstrates a holistic approach to housing development. The Grace Estate, Aviation Village, and specific quarters for the House of Assembly, Executive Council, Judiciary, and local government chairmen further showcase the administration's dedication to improving living conditions across the board.
