A Month After Launch, Jetour T1 Books 800 Orders, Dominated by Hybrid Variant

PT Jetour Sales Indonesia has achieved a significant milestone, securing 800 vehicle orders (SPK) for its Jetour T1 SUV just one month after its launch in June 2026. The strong market reception is largely attributed to the Intelligent Dual Mode (i-DM) variant, which features plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) technology.

Michael Budihardja, Sales Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, expressed appreciation for the high public interest in the Jetour T1, noting that the majority of current orders are for the i-DM variant. This trend indicates a growing consumer confidence in PHEV technology. Budihardja highlighted that the increasing interest in the i-DM variant reflects a consumer shift towards considering electrified vehicles that still offer the flexibility for long-distance travel.

The Jetour T1 i-DM is equipped with an ACTECO 1.5 TGDI gasoline engine, an electric motor, a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The manufacturer claims the vehicle can travel up to 100 kilometers in pure electric mode under WLTC standards. The hybrid system offers various automatic driving modes, including Pure EV, Intelligent Hybrid, Parallel Drive, Series Drive, Direct Engine Drive, and Energy Recovery through regenerative braking.

Beyond its electrification, the Jetour T1 boasts comfort-enhancing features such as 79 sound-dampening points, dual acoustic glass, dual-zone climate control, Nap Mode, parking cabin cooling, and automatic ventilation. The i-DM variant includes a leg rest for the front passenger seat, and the vehicle's glass is designed to filter up to 99 percent of ultraviolet rays. Differences also extend to the chassis, with the ICE variant using 18-inch wheels and the i-DM variant featuring 19-inch wheels with run-flat tires.

Jetour is currently offering promotional prices for the first 1,000 customers: Rp388 million for the Jetour T1 ICE and Rp538 million for the Jetour T1 i-DM (OTR Jakarta). Following this initial quota, the official prices will be Rp408 million for the ICE variant and Rp558 million for the i-DM variant. All Jetour T1 purchases come with a six-year unlimited mileage warranty for the vehicle and engine, while the i-DM variant includes an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for the battery.
