A Single Glance Escalates into Four-Way Brawl Among Kuwaiti Youths

A seemingly harmless glance turned into a four-way fight in Sulaibikhat after four Kuwaiti youths clashed following an encounter outside a sports club.

The Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report about a youth brawl, prompting a security patrol to respond. Officers found four youths involved in the fight. Two had bruises and abrasions on their faces and chests.

During initial questioning, the youths said the dispute began after they left the sports club and noticed another person staring at them. They confronted him and asked why he was looking at them, but he allegedly ignored them. A verbal exchange followed, then punches were thrown.

Two of those involved requested medical examinations and were allowed to leave after their details were recorded and medical reports were submitted. Police took the other two to the station.

The youths gave conflicting accounts and accused one another over what started the confrontation. Investigators are expected to question them again to determine how the incident unfolded and who was responsible.
