Abu Dhabi fines industrial facility Dh25,000 for environmental breach

An industrial facility in Abu Dhabi has been penalized with a Dh25,000 fine for environmental breaches, according to the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD).

The agency issued the administrative penalty after the facility failed to implement necessary measures to limit air emissions and prevent dust dispersion. These actions violated environmental requirements designed to control air pollution and mitigate the spread of dust, which can negatively impact air quality and public health.

EAD emphasized its ongoing commitment to environmental protection through routine inspections and monitoring. The agency aims to ensure all industrial operations in the emirate adhere to environmental standards and regulatory obligations.
