South Korean actor So Ji Sub has once again captured attention with a generous gesture, gifting around 300 pure gold bars to the cast and crew of his recent drama, 'Agent Kim Reactivated.' Each bar weighs one gram and was presented in a special box accompanied by a handwritten card from the actor.

The 48-year-old star's act of appreciation has garnered widespread praise after images of the gifts circulated on social media platforms. In his message, So Ji Sub expressed his gratitude and emotion throughout the filming process. "I felt very touched and happy throughout this project. Thank you to everyone who has worked hard and shined a light on 'Agent Kim Reactivated' from their respective positions," he wrote.

While his management company did not disclose the total cost, the estimated value of the approximately 300 gold bars is around 100 million won (approximately $72,000 USD). This marks the second consecutive year So Ji Sub has gifted gold to his colleagues; he previously did so after completing the series 'Mercy for None' last year.

So Ji Sub explained that giving gifts after completing a project has been his tradition since he first took on leading roles. He views the gold bars as a symbol of his gratitude, ensuring the team's safe completion of the project. "I am here because of them. I used to give other gifts, but some thought they were sponsored. Gold cannot be sponsored, so I chose it with sincerity. If one day they face difficulties, at least the gold can be sold and help them," he stated.

The actor's considerate nature extends beyond the set.
