Actress, Journalist, Pianist: María Irigaray's Diverse Talents Shine

María Irigaray, at 31, embodies a multifaceted life, seamlessly blending careers as a classical pianist, sports journalist, actress, and model. She recently participated in the Miss Universo Argentina 2026 pageant, earning recognition for "Best Outfit," and is publicly known as the partner of actor Darío Lopilato.

Simultaneously, her work in sports journalism allows her to highlight the stories of female athletes who deserve greater recognition.

The world of acting brought a significant personal connection into her life; she met Lopilato while working on the play "Vamos a contar mentiras." This diverse range of pursuits, though seemingly disparate, collectively shapes who she is. Irigaray recently earned a degree in Arts and Technology, with Lopilato being among the first to congratulate her.

Her journey in beauty pageants began at 18, leading to over thirty titles, including Reina Hispanoamericana Argentina and Miss Model Intercontinental in Peru. Although she did not win the Miss Universo Argentina crown to represent the country in Puerto Rico, Irigaray cherishes the experience, having participated previously with different priorities and a new objective. She proudly achieved her goal in this latest competition.
