Actress Ko So-young surprised viewers by revealing an unconventional use for her approximately 4.2 million won (about $3,000 USD) dishwasher: storing boxes of instant ramen. In a YouTube video showcasing her kitchen, Ko opened the appliance to reveal stacks of noodles instead of dishes.

When the production crew expressed surprise, Ko explained that the ramen is a special variety sold at a golf course, emphasizing its freshness due to a short distribution chain, with noodles reportedly only three days old from the factory. She attributed the abundance of ramen to her husband, actor Jang Dong-gun, who often buys a box when visiting the golf course.

The couple enjoys the ramen not only by cooking it but also by preparing a snack called 'ramyeon-ppang,' a crispy ramen dish. Ko described a method involving a 10-second microwave zap followed by seasoning, noting that her husband is the one who prepares it. The dishwasher, a built-in German high-end appliance, was originally part of the home's fixtures.

Reflecting on electronics, Ko shared her opinion that Korean-made products are superior, particularly in terms of internal space utilization, which she found lacking in foreign brands. The dishwasher is reportedly sold online for around 4.2 million won.
