ADC Names Okumgba as Rivers Deputy Governorship Candidate for 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State has officially nominated David Amapakaye Okumgba as its deputy governorship candidate for the upcoming 2027 election. The announcement was made by the party's state chairman, Dr. Chukwudi Dimgba, in Port Harcourt.

Okumgba, who hails from the Okrika Local Government Area, is recognized for his background as an administrator, businessman, and politician. His experience includes serving as the South-South Zonal Secretary and South-South Zonal Publicity Secretary for a political party. He has also chaired the Appeal Committee for Senatorial Primaries in Edo State and previously vied for a seat in the Rivers State House of Assembly.
