Adorni Apartment Sale Scrutinized: Key Witness Testifies in Illicit Enrichment Probe

The investigation into Chief of Staff Manuel Adorni's finances has taken a significant turn with the testimony of Pablo Martin Feijoo, the son of one of the retirees involved in the sale of an apartment to Adorni. Feijoo, described as the architect of the transaction, appeared before federal prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita at the Comodoro Py courthouse.

The core of the inquiry revolves around the 2025 sale of a Caballito apartment. While the official price was $230,000, testimonies suggest it could have fetched up to $345,000. More strikingly, Adorni paid only $30,000 upfront, with the remaining balance deferred interest-free until November of this year through a mortgage, a detail that has raised eyebrows.

Feijoo's mother and the other seller, Beatriz Viegas and Claudia Sbabo respectively, stated they purchased the apartment in May 2025 for $200,000 with savings, intending to make a profit, but were consistently advised by Feijoo, who works in construction. This transaction is just one piece of the larger puzzle as prosecutor Pollicita scrutinizes Adorni's expenditures to ascertain if his recent lifestyle is commensurate with his income. The unusual terms of the sale have fueled speculation and intensified the scrutiny on the Chief of Staff's financial dealings.
