After an Existential Crisis, Lola Weippert Feels Liberated in Ibiza

A spontaneous trip to Ibiza helped television presenter Lola Weippert emerge from a personal crisis feeling lighter and more energized. She shared revealing holiday photos on Instagram and described the journey as a release.

“From my existential crisis alone on my farm to a spontaneous trip to Ibiza, and suddenly everything feels so much lighter and more colorful,” she wrote. Weippert had previously said that loneliness and doubts had become difficult after she moved into her own farm in Brandenburg.

“I had a real low over the past few weeks because I moved alone to my farm and was sure it would feel wonderful. But being alone, the silence, the darkness and the big house had the opposite effect, and suddenly I questioned everything,” she wrote.

She also said that several unpleasant things had happened during the year and that she probably had not processed them because she had spent the previous months simply functioning. In Ibiza, she spent time with friends, meditated, went hiking and swam. The break, she said, gave her new energy, impulses and ideas for her return to Germany.

Weippert hosted RTL’s reality show “Temptation Island” for several years. Since April, she has co-hosted the weekly podcast “Schön Laut” with singer Vanessa Mai.
