After NTT earthquake, BRI Life delivers aid to two Manggarai villages

BRI Life has delivered logistical assistance to residents of two villages affected by the earthquake in Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara.

The aid reached people in Beokina and Dimpong villages following the earthquake that struck the region on Aug. 15, 2026. The distribution formed part of BRI Life’s social and environmental responsibility program and was strengthened by donations from the company’s employees and management.

BRI Life volunteers worked alongside Bank BRI volunteers in the affected area. They distributed the packages directly, with the involvement of local government officials and community leaders.

Ade Nasution, BRI Life’s corporate secretary, said the company and its workers wanted to provide practical support to people dealing with the aftermath of the disaster. “BRI Life shares the grief and expresses its concern over the earthquake disaster in NTT. Through BRI Life’s social and environmental responsibility program, strengthened by donations from our employees, we want to be present and provide real support to the affected community,” he said in a press statement.

Nasution praised cooperation between Bank BRI volunteers, BRI Life volunteers and residents. He said the collaboration helped ensure that aid procurement and distribution matched local needs, and expressed hope that the assistance would support residents during the recovery period.
