After Powerful Downpour and Storm, Forecasters Announce What's Coming Soon

Following a period of intense rainfall and storms, Lithuania is bracing for a noticeable shift in weather as cooler temperatures are set to arrive in the coming days. The Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service has forecast a significant drop in mercury, with daytime temperatures expected to peak between a mere 14 and 19 degrees Celsius.

According to Tadas Kantautas, a synoptic meteorologist at the service, the country will be affected by cooler air masses moving in from the north. These cooler conditions will be accompanied by the arrival of a low-pressure system, which is expected to bring intermittent periods of rain.

The forecast indicates that these rain showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms, adding a dynamic element to the changing weather patterns. Residents can expect a mix of cloudy skies and scattered precipitation as the week progresses.
