Low legal literacy continues to hinder public access to justice in Indonesia, with a significant portion of the population unaware of their fundamental rights, including the entitlement to free legal assistance. Research indicates that approximately 53% of individuals seeking justice do not know they can receive legal aid without charge, impacting their ability to navigate the legal system effectively.

In response to these challenges, Hukumonline has developed innovative AI-driven solutions to democratize access to legal information. Their conversational AI legal research assistant, AIlex, is currently utilized by over 3,500 users monthly. Additionally, the "Internal Policy Review" feature assists companies in aligning their internal policies with evolving regulations, offering document summarization, substance analysis, and AI-powered discussion tools.
