Aiyedatiwa names commissioner, three advisers, 1,000 aides

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has significantly expanded his administration by approving the appointment of one commissioner, three special advisers, and a substantial 1,000 political aides. This move is intended to strengthen governance and improve service delivery throughout the state.

Among the key appointments is Erelu Taibat Yemi Oloruntoba from Akoko North-West Local Government Area, who has been nominated as the Commissioner for Special Duties. Her name has been submitted to the Ondo State House of Assembly for the necessary screening and confirmation process.

The three Special Advisers appointed are Abimbola Fajolu (Environment), Chief Ade Adeniyi (Rural and Community Development), and Mr. Muyiwa Ogunyemi (Transport). These appointments are designed to bring focused expertise to critical sectors within the state government.

In addition to these roles, the governor approved 1,000 political aides, comprising 90 Senior Special Assistants and 910 Special Assistants. The list includes individuals appointed to various roles such as Women Mobilisation, Forestry, Community Engagement, Students Affairs, Volunteer Services, Oil and Gas, Youth Empowerment, and Public Engagement. The governor emphasized that these appointments take immediate effect, underscoring his administration's commitment to enhancing its operational capacity.
