Why I chose to work with Obi — Kwankwaso

Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has articulated his reasons for forming a presidential ticket with former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi for the 2027 elections. Kwankwaso stated that their alliance is driven by a commitment to provide Nigerians with competent and accountable leadership amidst the nation's pressing challenges.

In a message to Nigerians, Kwankwaso described the country as being at a critical juncture, grappling with escalating living costs, high unemployment, pervasive insecurity, and insufficient investment in education, healthcare, and infrastructure. He noted the struggles of millions, particularly young people, in finding meaningful employment, while businesses contend with high operational expenses and economic uncertainty.

This is why I have chosen to work with His Excellency, Peter Obi, on the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket. Our partnership is not about region, religion or personal ambition. It is about Nigeria.
