Akpabio, Uzodimma Arrive Osun for APC Mega Rally

Top figures of Nigeria's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have converged on Osogbo, the Osun state capital, for a massive rally. Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Progressive Governors Forum Chairman Hope Uzodimma are among the high-profile politicians present. The gathering is a crucial part of the APC's final push to galvanize support for its governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, before Saturday's election.

The mega rally is scheduled for Thursday, the last day of the official campaign period. It is expected to draw APC leaders, supporters, and campaign coordinators from all 30 local government areas of Osun. The party aims to use this show of strength to energize its campaign machinery and consolidate its support base.

Visiting governors and other senior APC leaders have also been engaging with party members and residents in Osun. These efforts are designed to complement the party's existing grassroots structures and translate campaign activities into votes for Oyebamiji. The candidate, a former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, has been campaigning on a platform of development for the state.
