Inter Milan's U23 team saw a premature end to Alessandro Milani's debut match in the Coppa Italia Serie C against Vado. The young player was forced off the field in the first half due to a discomfort in his right thigh, preventing him from continuing the game.

The match, held at the Giuseppe Sivori Stadium in Sestri Levante, was a tense affair that ultimately went to penalties. After a 1-1 draw during regular time, with Giorgio Lionetti scoring for Vado and Marello equalizing for Inter, Vado emerged victorious with an 8-7 win in the shootout.

Milani, who joined Inter from Lazio on July 24, had started the game. The injury occurred around the 18th minute following a challenge for the ball near the sideline. Despite leaving the field walking with assistance from the medical staff, his visible pain indicated a significant issue.

This debut also marked a significant moment for Milani's international career. The left-back, a champion of the Supercoppa Italiana Primavera with Lazio in the 2022-2023 season, had previously debuted for the Venezuelan national team, known as 'La Vinotinto,' in 2025. He has since been part of several call-ups, including matches against Argentina, Australia, and Canada, though he had not been called up recently before his move to Inter Milan.
