Almaty will again be left without electricity - schedule and list of addresses

Residents of Almaty are advised of scheduled power outages set to occur between August 17 and August 21. The interruptions are necessary for maintenance work and will primarily affect areas managed by Electrical Network District No. 1 (RES-1), RES-2, and RES-3.

The power cuts are expected to take place daily from approximately 08:00 or 09:00 until 17:00. Specific micro-districts and streets have been listed for each day, allowing residents to prepare for the disruptions. For instance, on August 17, the Turkestan micro-district, Aigerim-1, and Shanyrak-2 micro-districts will experience outages, among other locations.

The schedule continues through the week, with different areas affected each day. The utility company, AZhK, has cautioned that these dates are subject to change, particularly if unscheduled emergency works are required. This proactive notification aims to minimize inconvenience while essential network maintenance is carried out.
