Ángel Ximénez signs Argentine winger Nico Bonanno

The Cajasol Ángel Ximénez handball club has secured the signing of Argentine left-back Nicolás Bonanno for the 2026-27 season, with an option for a second year. Bonanno, a seasoned player at 34 years old, arrives from Nava, bringing a decade of experience in Spain's premier handball division.

Throughout his career in Spain, Bonanno has also represented clubs such as Huesca, Granollers, Bidasoa, and Anaitasuna. His addition to the squad follows the earlier signings of goalkeeper Matej Asasin and backcourt player Quim Rocas. These moves are intended to build a strong working group for the Andalusian club as they aim to achieve success in their competitions.
