Anses Continues April Pension Payments, Includes 2.90% Adjustment

The National Social Security Administration (Anses) is diligently proceeding with its April payment calendar, ensuring that retirees and pensioners receive their due benefits. This Monday, April 13, marks a significant day for many as Anses disburses pensions that do not surpass the minimum established amount, alongside Non-Contributory Pensions. This consistent payout schedule reflects the government's commitment to supporting its elderly citizens.

In addition to the regular payments, Argentinian pensions have received a 2.90% adjustment this April. This increase is directly linked to the inflation rate recorded in February, which stood at 2.9%. This monthly adjustment mechanism, based on precise inflation data, ensures that the purchasing power of pensions is maintained in line with the prevailing economic conditions.

The minimum pension amount, along with the Universal Pension for Older Adults (PUAM) and various other non-contributory and grace pensions, are all subject to this monthly recalculation. This system aims to provide a degree of financial stability for the most vulnerable segments of the population.

Furthermore, the supplementary bonus of $70,000 continues to be distributed. This bonus, which has remained unchanged for over two years, is fully allocated to those receiving the minimum pension or non-contributory pensions. For beneficiaries whose pensions exceed the minimum, the bonus is provided proportionally, ensuring that everyone receives a benefit up to a ceiling of $450,319.31.
