ANSeS September payment schedule: retirees and AUH recipients to receive up to $70,000 bonus

Argentina’s ANSeS will begin September payments on Tuesday, Sept. 8, for retirees, pensioners and recipients of several social allowances. Benefits increase by 2.11% this month, while a bonus of up to 70,000 pesos remains available to lower-income recipients.

The minimum pension will rise to 428,633.20 pesos. With the full bonus, a retiree receiving the minimum will collect 498,633.20 pesos. The PUAM payment will reach 342,906.56 pesos, while the Universal Child Allowance, or AUH, will total 154,031 pesos per child.

Recipients whose income does not exceed the minimum pension receive the full 70,000-peso bonus. The supplement also applies to PUAM recipients and holders of non-contributory pensions under the established conditions. For people receiving more than the minimum, the bonus decreases until the total reaches a maximum of 498,633.20 pesos. No bonus applies above that amount.

Payments for retirees receiving the minimum are scheduled according to the final digit of the DNI. Those ending in 0 receive payments on Sept. 8, followed by digits 1 through 9 on successive scheduled dates through Sept. 21. Retirees and pensioners above the minimum receive payments from Sept. 22 through Sept. 28, also according to their DNI.

ANSeS pays 80% of the AUH monthly, or 123,224.80 pesos. The remaining 20% is withheld and paid after the recipient submits the required record book. AUH recipients who meet the conditions may also receive the Alimentar Card, worth 72,250 pesos for families with one child, 113,299 pesos for two children and 149,425 pesos for three or more. The 2.11% increase reflects the monthly adjustment mechanism for social security benefits. No midyear bonus is paid in September.
