Deportes Antofagasta delivered a commanding performance at home, crushing Unión San Felipe 5-1 at the Estadio "Calvo y Bascuñán." This significant win propels the northern club closer to the top of the Liga de Ascenso standings, currently led by Cobreloa.

Despite a resilient first half from the visitors, Antofagasta broke the deadlock just before halftime. Matías Gallegos opened the scoring in the 40th minute, followed swiftly by Brayan Hurtado in the 42nd, setting the stage for a dominant second half. The offensive pressure from Antofagasta continued after the break, with Simón Ramírez extending their lead in the 54th minute.
