Apple's Next Price Hike Expected for iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods

Apple is reportedly preparing for another round of price increases across its product lineup, with several key devices expected to become more expensive. This follows an initial wave of price adjustments in June that affected Mac, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, and Vision Pro models, with increases ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of New Taiwan dollars.

The upcoming fall product launches, particularly the anticipated September event, are expected to bring further price hikes. The iPhone is seen as a primary target for these increases, with the iPhone 18 Pro series likely to be significantly impacted. While the standard iPhone 18 and second-generation iPhone Air are rumored for a spring 2025 release, existing iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models are expected to either maintain their current prices or see an increase, with a price reduction being highly unlikely.

New models of the Apple Watch, including the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, are also predicted to see price adjustments. This is largely attributed to tight memory supply, which is driving up the cost of essential components. In contrast, AirPods may face less upward price pressure. While Apple is rumored to be developing new AirPods, potentially with built-in cameras, their release timeline remains uncertain. However, compared to iPhones and Apple Watches, AirPods are less affected by rising memory costs, suggesting any potential price increases might be more moderate.
