Acer Launches New Gaming Monitor with 275Hz Refresh Rate and 0.5ms Response Time

Acer has released its new XV272U Z2 gaming monitor, targeting players who prioritize smooth visuals and quick response times. The 27-inch display boasts a QHD resolution (2,560x1,440) and can achieve a high refresh rate of 275Hz when connected via DisplayPort. Coupled with a rapid 0.5-millisecond response time, the monitor aims to minimize motion blur and ghosting, ensuring a fluid experience during fast-paced gameplay.

The XV272U Z2 utilizes an IPS panel, offering a wide 178-degree viewing angle for consistent color reproduction from various perspectives. For an immersive gaming experience, it supports HDR400 with a peak brightness of 400 nits, enhancing the contrast between light and dark elements. The display also covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering rich and vibrant colors.
