Applications sought for Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission vacancies

Sri Lanka's Constitutional Council has initiated a call for applications to fill vacant positions within the Human Rights Commission. This move aims to ensure the commission is adequately staffed with qualified individuals to uphold human rights standards in the country.

Prospective candidates are required to submit their applications by July 31, 2026. The application format, along with detailed instructions, is available on the official website of the Sri Lankan Parliament (www.parliament.lk) under a section titled 'Recommendation for the position of Member of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission.'

Completed applications should be addressed to the acting secretary of the Constitutional Council and can be submitted either through registered post or via email to a designated address. Applicants are instructed to clearly indicate 'Recommendation for the position of Member of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission' on the upper left corner of the envelope or in the subject line of the email.
