AS V.Club calls extraordinary assembly for July 31 to elect new leadership

The Council of Elders of the Association Sportive Vita Club (AS V.Club) has called for an extraordinary general and elective assembly to be held on July 31 in Kinshasa. The primary objective of this assembly is to establish a new leadership team for the popular Congolese football club, following the conclusion of the current management's term.

The decision was made during an emergency meeting focused on organizing the club's electoral process. Gabriel Nyombi, president of the Council of Elders, presided over the meeting. According to the minutes read by the council's secretary, José Montingia, the election will adhere to new club statutes and regulations approved on April 30.

A detailed schedule has been published, beginning with the installation of the electoral commission on July 15. Candidates can submit their applications between July 17 and 24. Dossiers will be reviewed on July 25, with the list of approved candidates announced the same day. The election campaign will run from July 26 to 30, preceding a mini-assembly on July 30. The main elective assembly is set for July 31, and the new leadership is expected to be installed on August 1, 2026.
