Asunción Racetrack Features Sunday of Classic Races Honoring Gen. Rodríguez

The Jockey Club of Paraguay in Asunción is set to host a day of classic horse racing this Sunday, featuring a total of seven local races and two live broadcasts from the U.S.

The program is highlighted by five special races, three of which are dedicated to the memory of the late General Andrés Rodríguez. The event will showcase four classic races specifically for 2-year-old thoroughbreds, alongside a special race for older horses, promising a festive and competitive atmosphere.

Racing enthusiasts can look forward to the Criterium races for both 2-year-old colts and fillies, covering a distance of 1,300 meters. These will be followed by the "Gral. de Ejército Don Andrés Rodríguez" classics, also for 2-year-old colts and fillies, run over 1,200 meters. The "19 de Junio" special prize, commemorating Andrés Rodríguez's birthday, will be the sixth race of the day, open to horses of various categories.

For bettors, the day offers several guaranteed jackpot opportunities. These include a G. 12,000,000 Pick 5 in the first race, a G. 4,000,000 Pick 4 in the second and fourth races, a G. 30,000,000 Triple Grande in the seventh race, and a G. 6,000,000 Duplo in the eighth race.
