At INAMARINE 2026, Indonesia Classification Bureau showcases maritime services

PT Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia, known as BKI, used INAMARINE 2026 to put its domestic ship-classification services directly in front of the maritime industry. The state-owned company took part as an exhibitor at the event at Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Jakarta.

BKI presented its products and services through interactive promotional materials designed to improve public understanding of maritime and shipbuilding activities. The exhibition brought together companies involved in ship construction, offshore operations, shipyards, marine equipment, machinery and supporting materials.

The BKI booth included a meeting and networking area for customers, potential customers and other industry participants. Visitors could also watch digital mini-training videos introducing BKI’s products and technical services, attend short live training sessions led by BKI personnel, and take part in digital games. Promotional materials and brochures focused especially on domestic ship classification.

BKI President Director R. Benny Susanto and Business Operations Director for Classification Arief Budi Permana visited the booth. Benny said the exhibition allowed the company to stay close to the industry and observe its changing needs firsthand. “BKI’s participation in INAMARINE is part of our effort to remain close to the industry. Here we can meet customers, potential customers and other industry players, while also seeing directly the developments and needs of the maritime sector,” he said.

INAMARINE 2026 marked the exhibition’s 14th edition and was presented as one of Asia’s leading maritime-industry events. BKI said its participation would support the national maritime sector through information-sharing, education and the introduction of services aligned with industry needs.
