At least three killed in Russian attacks in eastern Ukraine

At least two people were killed and two others injured in Ukraine's Dnipro region following artillery and aerial bombardments by Russian forces, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional military administration, who reported the information on Telegram.

In Kharkiv, one of eastern Ukraine's major cities, a 68-year-old man died when an attack drone exploded. A 46-year-old woman sustained severe injuries from the same drone attack. Later in the evening, several individuals were injured in Russian attacks on the city of Pavlohrad in eastern Ukraine. Hanzha reported on Telegram that nine people were injured, including four children aged between three months and six years.

In Odesa, six people were injured and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged during overnight attacks involving ballistic missiles and attack drones, as reported by Odesa Mayor Serhiy Lysak on Telegram. Additionally, in the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region, five people were injured and residential buildings were damaged by a Russian air strike, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, who posted on Facebook that the Russians dropped a guided bomb on the city.

Russia has been engaged in a war against Ukraine for nearly four and a half years. In recent times, Russian forces have increasingly targeted civilian infrastructure across Ukraine.
