The exchange of gunfire resulted in the suspect sustaining fatal injuries. Security camera footage circulating on social media appears to capture the final moments of the alleged robber and the police engagement.

The woman targeted in the attempted robbery was reportedly trying to park her motorcycle when the assailant approached her, brandishing a firearm. The suspect was allegedly attempting to take something from her hand when the sound of an escaping accomplice's motorcycle alerted him to the presence of law enforcement. Two officers on a motorcycle surprised the man, initiating the fatal shootout.

Authorities are actively searching for the accomplice who fled the scene on the motorcycle.
