Aztlán Urban Park: Must-see attractions and discount tips in Mexico City

Aztlán Urban Park, inaugurated in 2024 within the second section of Mexico City's Bosque de Chapultepec, provides a new destination for adventure and family entertainment. Built on the former site of the Chapultepec Fair, the park aims to blend amusement with the promotion of Mexican history and culture.

Entry to Aztlán Park is free, allowing visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and watch the attractions. However, individual rides and games require payment, with prices ranging from $40 to $130 pesos. For unlimited access to all mechanical rides, an Aztlán Plus bracelet is available for $650 pesos. Payments within the park are made using a rechargeable electronic wallet.

The park features 16 mechanical rides, including the towering Aztlán 360 Ferris wheel, an 85-meter-high attraction offering panoramic views of Mexico City. Each cabin accommodates six people and is equipped with air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity for a personalized experience. The ride costs $130 pesos per person.

Thrill-seekers can experience Serpentikah, an extreme roller coaster inspired by Quetzalcoatl. This 540-meter-long ride features three full inversions and is themed around an archaeological exploration. Additionally, the park boasts a traditional two-story carousel with various ride options, illuminated beautifully at night.
