'Lady Paquete' Returns Stolen Cellphone After Viral Confrontation; Daughter Cites 'Outburst'

A viral incident involving an older woman, nicknamed 'Lady Paquete,' who aggressively confronted a delivery driver and stole his cellphone, has reached a resolution. The encounter, captured on the driver's helmet camera and shared on TikTok, garnered over 13 million views. In the video, the woman is heard shouting at the driver, demanding to know why he wasn't waiting outside her home and questioning his understanding of Spanish instructions.

The delivery driver attempted to explain that he did not have her package, but the woman refused to listen. She then took his cellphone and retreated to her home. The driver, identified as @driverik150 on TikTok, sought assistance from local authorities in Coacalco, State of Mexico.

Following intervention by municipal officials, the woman's daughter met with the driver and returned the stolen cellphone. She explained that her mother had "had an outburst." While authorities informed the driver he could pursue legal action for the aggression, he stated his only request was for the woman to apologize. The driver emphasized that he did not intend to incite hatred or violence by sharing his experience.
