Ba FC Advances to Fiji FACT Grand Final After Extra-Time Win

Ba FC booked their place in the grand final of the 2026 BiC Fiji FACT tournament after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over hosts Labasa FC in extra time. The match, held at Subrail Park in Labasa, saw a tense battle from the outset, with both teams displaying strong defensive efforts to end the first half scoreless.

Despite numerous attacking attempts and corner kicks in the second half, neither side could break the deadlock. Disciplined defending and a fervent home crowd atmosphere kept the score at 0-0 through regulation time, forcing the match into an additional 30 minutes.

Etonia Dogalau provided the breakthrough just a minute into the first period of extra time, calmly slotting home the winning goal for Ba, known as the Men in Black. Labasa FC pushed aggressively for an equalizer in the remaining minutes, but Ba's defense held firm, securing their spot in the grand final. Ba FC will now await the winner of the second semi-final, with the championship match scheduled for 3 p.m. tomorrow.
