Ba FC eyes third major title after strong season

Fijian football club Ba FC is setting its sights on clinching a third major title this season, buoyed by recent victories in the Fiji FACT and the Extra Premier League. The team, known as "The Men in Black," ended a seven-year drought by winning the Extra Premier League title over the weekend, adding to their Fiji FACT triumph in July.

Ba FC President Praneel Dayal expressed his belief that the team possesses the necessary talent and determination to secure the upcoming Battle of the Giants tournament. "I believe we have what it takes to achieve this," Dayal stated. "The boys have already proven themselves, it’s just a matter now of going out there on the field and fighting for it."

Dayal highlighted the significant role of fan support throughout the season. He noted that the encouragement from fans and families has been one of the team's most powerful driving forces. The upcoming Battle of the Giants tournament will be particularly special for Ba FC, as it is scheduled to be held at their home ground, the 4R Govind Park Stadium, from September 4th to 6th.
