Bahrain Strongly Condemns Iranian Drone Attack on UAE

Bahrain has strongly condemned what it described as an Iranian drone attack on the United Arab Emirates, calling it a blatant violation of Emirati sovereignty and a dangerous escalation.

In a statement, Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry said the attack violated international law, the UN Charter, UN Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026 and the principles of good-neighbourly relations.

The ministry expressed full solidarity with the UAE and backed measures taken to protect the country’s security, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its citizens and residents.

Bahrain also called on the UN Security Council to fulfil its responsibilities and adopt urgent, decisive measures. It urged Iran to stop actions threatening regional security and stability, comply with international law and the UN Charter, and respect freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and other vital waterways.
