Bandung Airport to Resume Jet Flights August 14, 2026

Husein Sastranegara Airport in Bandung, Indonesia, is set to welcome back narrow-body jet flights on August 14, 2026, following approval from the Ministry of Transportation. PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, operating as InJourney Airports, confirmed it has met all operational readiness aspects, including safety, security, and regulatory compliance.

Mohammad Rizal Pahlevi, President Director of InJourney Airports, expressed gratitude for the support that led to the airport's readiness. He stated that the optimization of flights will enhance travel services and provide tourists with the best facilities, infused with West Javanese culture. The inaugural jet flight on August 14, 2026, will connect Denpasar and Bandung, operated by Garuda Indonesia.

InJourney Airports has ensured the facility is fully prepared for passengers and airport users. The departure area features 26 check-in counters, self-check-in kiosks, and security screening equipment. The boarding lounge is ready, along with commercial tenants. New amenities include a coworking space and a kids' zone. The arrival area is equipped with three conveyor belts and a public transport outlet. General facilities include six prayer rooms, 22 restrooms, two escalators, and three elevators. Safety facilities within the terminal have also been verified.
