Bandung City DPRD Commission I Oversees Follow-up to 2025 Accountability Report and Synchronizes 2027 Work Plan

Bandung City's Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) Commission I is actively engaged in reviewing past performance and planning for the future. The commission recently held a meeting to follow up on recommendations from the 2025 Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) and to synchronize priorities for the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD).

The recommendations that have been submitted must truly be followed up measurably and become part of the improvement of the regional government's performance.

The discussions centered on critical areas such as strengthening government administration, advancing bureaucratic reform, and elevating the quality of public services. Susanto Triyogo Adiputro, Secretary of Commission I, emphasized that the goal is to ensure all DPRD recommendations are optimally implemented by regional perangkat daerah (work units) and to establish a solid foundation for future development programs.

Significant attention was given to the concrete follow-up of DPRD's LKPJ recommendations, particularly concerning bureaucratic reform. Commission I urged that these recommendations translate into tangible actions that enhance the effectiveness and accountability of government operations, moving beyond mere administrative procedures. The performance of public services, including the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM), was also scrutinized, with a strong emphasis placed on prioritizing improvements that offer faster, easier, and more transparent services to meet rising public expectations.

Furthermore, the commission addressed the strategic planning for civil servant (ASN) human resources up to 2027, assessing current needs and future requirements. Strengthening internal oversight systems and mitigating findings from the Board of Auditors (BPK) were also key discussion points, aimed at fostering clean, transparent, and accountable governance. The outcomes of these deliberations are intended to be formalized in a matrix for the follow-up of the 2025 LKPJ recommendations, guiding the formulation of Bandung City's 2027 RKPD priorities.
